As a photographer, I hold up the mirror to my clients, helping them see themselves beautiful with my editorial portraiture - capturing the beautiful nuances and emotions of everyday life. I believe in evocative storytelling through my photos. Positive body image, sensuality, sexuality and gender are promoted through my nude art and erotic photography.
Before getting behind the camera, I was an art model and worked with numerous photographers and have been featured in photo exhibits and books including Moregasm: Babeland's Guide to Mind-Blowing Sex, Portraits of Eve and The Naked and the Lens: A Guide to Nude Photography.
My first solo photo exhibit, Man. Toy., was held at the Body Archive Gallery in New York. All images featured in that exhibit were shot on my camera phone at the time. Within months of beginning to teach myself how to shoot manual photography on a DSLR, I was the Grand Prize Winner of the first 40 Acres "BK Loves MJ Photo Contest" judged by Filmmaker and Producer Spike Lee. Since then I have exhibited my nude photography in group shows, a solo pop-up and at the Erotic Heritage Museum in Las Vegas --

How I Shoot
I rarely put my camera down during a shoot. My goal is to capture every detail of your story.
I work with clients who have an open spirit and positive attitude. Not being afraid to let loose, push your personal boundaries and have fun is a plus.
Sometimes I'll pose you, but my style is more conversational. That's not to say if you have ideas for a pose or concept I won't shoot it. Your ideas are welcome. You are unique and my images reflect that.
How do I book a shoot?
I require a $295 deposit and a photo so that I can identify you. In your initial email, tell me which photo shoot you're interested in, whether or not you can host the shoot and any possible dates (if known). Feel free to include a few details about yourself in your introduction too!
How much do you charge?
Portrait sessions (solo and couples) start at $395. Nude shoots start at $575. Mini photo shoots are available. Check the Book a Shoot page for information on photo shoot packages and a breakdown of cost and fees. Please inquire about the specific pricing details for additional models/participants, studio rental and travel.
Do you travel for photo shoots?
Indeed I do! I've had the opportunity to photograph people in many NYC neighboring cities - Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, New Haven - as well as Atlanta, Phoenix, Tucson and Las Vegas.
Don't hesitate to contact me about a photo session in your city! My travel schedule is dependent on shoots and/or exhibits outside of New York.
